How to delete people on Words with Friends
To delete someone on Words with Friends, go to your 'Games' tab, find the game with the person you want to remove, tap on their name, and select 'Remove Friend'.

In my experience, after you finish a game with someone, you can tap on their profile and hit 'Remove Friend' to delete them. Goodbye, annoying opponent!
You can't really 'delete' someone, but you can stop playing matches with them. Just don't start new games with that person.
If you're looking to delete a player you are in a game with, just finish or resign from the match and then tap 'Remove Friend'. Easy peasy!
