Deleting Proton files on your Steam Deck isn't directly straightforward, but here's a trick: dive into the desktop mode, then navigate to the Steam library folder where your Proton games are installed. Look for the 'compatdata' folder. This is where Proton keeps its files for each game. Simply delete the folder for the game you're targeting, but remember, this means you'll have to reinstall Proton for that game if you want to play it again. Honestly, haven't found an 'official' way to just remove Proton files without touching the game itself. Would love to see Steam add a feature for easier management of these files.
Just uninstall the game lol. It removes the Proton files too.
