Open the app, go to your friends list, and just swipe left on their name, then hit delete. Easy peasy!

Just block them! It's a bit easier than deleting and they can't contact you again. Go to their profile, click 'Block' and you're done.

If you're looking to remove recent opponents, go to 'Manage Friends' in the settings. From there, you can unfriend on Facebook or remove them directly if they're not connected via Facebook.
