If you wanna wave goodbye to Steam on your MacBook, it's simple! First, close Steam to make sure it's not running. Open your Applications folder, find the Steam app, and drag it to the Trash. If you're feeling thorough and want to remove all traces, head to Finder, click on “Go” in the menu bar, select “Go to Folder,” and type '~/Library/Application Support/'. Look for a folder named 'Steam' and chuck it into the Trash too. Empty the Trash, and voila, Steam has left the building.

Actually, keeping Steam might not be such a bad idea. It’s more than just a store; think of it as the heart of PC gaming on your Mac. Besides, who knows when you'll stumble upon a game that's just too good to pass up?

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
