Deleting games from your Steam library is pretty straightforward! Just open up the Steam client and go to your Library. Right-click on the game you want to delete and select 'Manage' > 'Uninstall'. Steam will ask you to confirm, and voilà, the game will be removed from your hard drive but remain in your library in case you wanna re-install later.

Just a heads up, if you're trying to free up some space, uninstalling games is the way to go. But if you're looking to remove a game from your library permanently (which I don't really see why you'd wanna do), you gotta contact Steam support. They're the gatekeepers for that kind of action.

Why would you even want to delete games from your Steam account? Just uninstall if you need space and keep them in your library. You never know when you'll get the itch to revisit an old favorite.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
