To delete Steam games from your Launchpad, first, you gotta open the Steam app and navigate to your Library. Right-click the game you want to remove, select 'Manage' then 'Uninstall.' This deletes the game from your Mac and should remove the icon from the Launchpad. If the icon's still there, try restarting your Mac or directly deleting the icon from the Launchpad by clicking and holding until it jiggles, then clicking the 'X'.

Just drag the game icon to the Trash from the Launchpad, works like a charm every time. If it doesn't, the game's still lurking in your Steam library, and you need to uninstall it from there first.

Honestly, just uninstalling from Steam should auto-remove it from Launchpad. If it sticks around, that's a Mac hiccup, not Steam.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
