You can delete saves directly from the game! Just go to the load screen, select the save you want to get rid of, and hit delete.
I had to do this last week. Just navigate to 'C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer\save_games' and clean out the ones you don't want. Works like a charm!
You don't need to delete saves, just embrace the clutter! Just kidding, use the in-game load menu to sort it out.
