Why bother? Restarting the console usually fixes most issues.

To clear the cache on your Xbox, just turn it off, unplug it from the power source for at least 10 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on. Voila, cache cleared!

I've done this many times: turn off your Xbox, unplug it, wait about 10 seconds, plug it back in, and start it up again. Simple and effective!

For Xbox One or Series X/S, you can clear the cache by doing a full power cycle. Just press and hold the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it turns off, then unplug it from the power outlet for a few minutes before plugging it back in and starting it up.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
