To delete your Xbox Live account on Xbox One, you actually need to close your Microsoft account entirely. Head over to account.microsoft.com, sign in, and follow the process to close your account. Remember, this will affect all Microsoft services linked to that account!

Hot take: Deleting your Xbox Live account is overkill. Just remove your account from the console and call it a day!

I did this last year. You gotta go to the Microsoft website and close your whole account. It's a bit extreme, but that's how they roll. Make sure you back up anything important first!

You can't just delete your Xbox Live account on Xbox One, but you can remove your gamertag from the console. Go to Settings > Account > Remove accounts, then select your account and confirm.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
