Don't bother. Just delete the game and forget it exists!
Trust me, as someone who *tried* to delete their account after too many rage quits, you have to do it via the Epic Games website. You'll find the option under 'Account Settings'.
Log into your Epic Games account through a web browser, navigate to Account Settings, and request an account deletion. You'll get a confirmation email.
So, I just did this recently. Log into your Epic Games account online, find the 'Account' tab, and hit 'Request Account Delete.' You'll get an email to confirm. Follow the link, and goodbye Fortnite account!
