You can't delete just your PlayStation Plus account; you'll have to cancel your subscription. To do that, go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > PlayStation Subscriptions on your console, and select the 'Turn Off Auto-Renew' option.

Really don't want PlayStation Plus? Cancel the auto-renewal! Under Account Management, find Subscriptions, and just turn off auto-renew. Easy-peasy!
