How to demote a clan leader in Warframe
You can't directly demote a clan leader in Warframe. The current leader has to promote someone else to be the new leader, effectively stepping down. Basically, they're like the ring bearer in Lord of the Rings - they gotta give it up themselves!

The clan leader has to voluntarily promote another member to become the leader. There's no way to force it.
The only way to 'demote' a clan leader is for them to transfer their leadership to another member. So, butter 'em up or stage a coup - kidding about the coup part!
Hot take: If the leader's inactive and won't transfer leadership, you might be better off starting a new clan.
I've been part of a Warframe clan where the leader just wasn't active. We convinced him to hand over the reins by promising more cake at our virtual clan meetings! It鈥檚 all about negotiation, my friend.
