You can't really despawn items in Subnautica, but if ya leave the area and come back later, poof, gone!
You can't force items to despawn instantly, but don't worry - the game does the magic for you! Just wait a bit or leave the area and they'll vanish eventually.
Drop stuff in a deep place aliens won't visit; nature will take care of the rest!
