Sorry to burst your bubble, but as of my last playthrough, there's no direct way to destroy gear in Hogwarts Legacy, regardless of the platform, including the Nintendo Switch. The game doesn't feature a mechanic for dismantling or destroying gear. Instead, focus on managing your inventory by selling unwanted items to vendors in-game. That's a great way to clean up your space and earn some extra Galleons for your next adventure!

Can't destroy, but selling is just as good. More Galleons for you!

Actually, Hogwarts Legacy doesn't let you destroy gear at all. Just sell what you don鈥檛 need or swap it out. Keeps things simple and your pockets heavy with Galleons!

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
