When you encounter a Pokémon, you'll see an AR switch in the top-right corner. Toggle it off and voila! No more pesky AR mode.

Super easy! Just click the AR toggle button when you're about to catch a Pokémon. It's on the top-right corner of your screen.

Hey! The AR mode can be disabled by flipping the AR toggle button when you’re in the capture screen!

Just turn off the AR switch at the top right corner when catching Pokémon. Makes the game less battery-hungry too!
