Go to the settings menu in Warframe, navigate to the 'Controls' tab, and simply uncheck the controller option. Easy peasy!

Just unplug your controller and restart the game. Warframe should default back to keyboard and mouse controls automatically.

I just switched to keyboard and mouse in the settings. No need to fully disable the controller. Worked fine for me!
