As someone who's done this a lot, just remember to go into your post settings and change the privacy option to lock it down!
You can't fully disable comments on your Facebook posts, but you can edit your post's privacy settings to limit who can see it and comment.
Don't want comments? Maybe try posting on a personal blog instead.
