How to Disable Followers on Facebook
To stop people from following you, go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Public Posts and change the 'Who Can Follow Me' option to 'Friends'.

Why would you want to disable followers? It's a social network! But if you must, go to Settings, hit Public Posts, and change 'Who Can Follow Me' to 'Friends'.
Don't want followers? Easy fix. Head to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Public Posts, then change 'Who Can Follow Me' to 'Friends'! Only your friends will be able to follow you.
Settings, Public Posts, Who Can Follow Me, change to Friends. Done.
Simple! Just go to Settings > Public Posts and switch 'Who Can Follow Me' from 'Public' to 'Friends'. Now only friends can follow you.
