Just turn 'em off in the game settings under 'Video'. Easy-peasy.

Disabling God Rays in Fallout 4 can give your game a little performance boost, especially on older rigs. The simplest way to do this is by tweaking the game's settings. Open your Fallout 4 settings, head to the 'Video' section, and look for the 'God Rays Quality' option. Set it to 'Off'. If you're cool with diving a bit deeper, you can edit the Fallout4Prefs.ini file found in your Documents/My Games/Fallout4 folder. Just add or change the line 'bVolumetricLightingEnable=0' to turn those pesky god rays off. Remember to save before you exit!

Honestly, why would you wanna disable God Rays? They make the wasteland look epic! But if you really have to, just tweak your game settings. Still, feels like you're missing out on the full Fallout 4 experience.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
