To disable PlayStation Plus on your PS4, go to Settings -> Account Management -> Account Information -> PlayStation Subscriptions, and then select Turn Off Auto-Renew.

I did this last week. Head to Settings, then Account Management, followed by Account Information, and finally PlayStation Subscriptions. Turn off auto-renew, and you're good!
