Disabling a sentry in Lethal Company is all about stealth and smarts. You gotta distract it first with a noise maker or a thrown object, then sneak up behind it and use your tool to disable it. Timing and patience are key here, otherwise you'll alert it and things will go south real fast.
Just shoot it lol. But for real, if you can aim well, shooting its weak spot (usually glowing parts) works. Just make sure you have enough ammo because these things can soak up bullets like sponges.
EMP grenades are your best friends against sentries. They'll disable them long enough for you to either destroy them or slip past. Just remember, EMPs are rare, so use them wisely.
