Easy peasy! Just launch your Steam client, click on 'Steam' in the upper left corner, then go to 'Settings' or 'Preferences' if you're on a Mac. From there, navigate to the 'Interface' tab. You'll see a checkbox that says 'Start Steam in Big Picture Mode' - just uncheck that, hit 'OK', and you're all good!

I had the same question! Followed the steps to uncheck 'Start Steam in Big Picture Mode' in the interface settings. Worked like a charm.
