To disable Steam Cloud Sync for Sonic Mania, open your Steam Library, right-click Sonic Mania, select Properties, and then uncheck the 'Enable Steam Cloud synchronization' option under the Updates tab. Easy, peasy!

Just go into Sonic Mania's game properties in Steam and turn off the cloud sync option. That's it!

I tried it myself! Just right-click your game in Steam, select 'Properties,' and under the 'Updates' tab, uncheck the cloud sync box.
