Don't bother disabling Steam Input. It's actually super helpful for getting more games to work with your controller!

Easy peasy! Just fire up Steam, click on 'Steam' in the upper left corner, and go to 'Settings'. Once there, navigate to the 'Controller' tab and then click on 'General Controller Settings'. You'll find a list of controllers that Steam currently supports. Just uncheck the box next to the configuration support for the type of controller you're using. Voila! Steam Input is disabled for your controller.

I had this issue last week! I just unplugged my controller, disabled Steam Input through Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings, and then plugged my controller back in. Worked like a charm!

Just uncheck the boxes in the Controller Settings. No need to overcomplicate things.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
