Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Open Steam, click on 'Steam' in the top left corner, then go to 'Settings'. Hit the 'Interface' tab and uncheck 'Run Steam when my computer starts'. Boom, done. Your PC will thank you for the extra seconds of peace.

I actually like having Steam boot up with my PC. Feels like I'm ready to dive into gaming at a moment's notice. But hey, to each their own!

Go into settings, find the 'Interface' section, and just uncheck 'Run Steam when my computer starts'. Honestly, it鈥檚 the first thing I did. My mornings are a lot quieter now.

Just uncheck that annoying little option in the settings. Your startup will be faster, and honestly, Steam can wait until you're actually ready to game.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
