Go to your settings, navigate to 'Privacy,' and adjust the ad preferences. That reduces the number of suggested pages you see.
Hot take: There's no way to turn them off completely. Just ignore them!
Personal experience here: I've had some luck by unfollowing pages I don't like. Facebook's algorithm stops showing similar suggestions over time.
