Honestly, dodging and using the environment to your advantage makes taking down a troll way easier. I made one run straight into a wall, and while it was seeing stars, a quick Expelliarmus had it dropping its club like hot potatoes. Timing is everything.
Just hit 'em with Expelliarmus when they're not looking. Works every time.
