First off, you'll need a drill and a 1/16" drill bit to remove the rivets from the bottom of the car. Make sure you're gentle; you don't wanna accidentally drill into the interior or the wheels. After you've drilled out the rivets, the body should separate from the chassis easily. If it's a bit stubborn, a small flathead screwdriver can help pry them apart without causing damage.

Honestly, just grab it firmly and pull, no need for all that fancy toolwork. If it's meant to come apart, it will.

Disassembling a Hot Wheels car requires patience. I've done a few for custom projects. You have to drill out the rivets carefully to avoid damaging the car. It's also handy to have a pair of needle-nose pliers and small screwdrivers to help with reassembly later. Remember, it's all about taking your time and being precise.
