How to Disassemble and Reassemble a Hot Wheels Car
Disassembling a Hot Wheels car is a delicate process, but totally doable with the right tools! First things first, you'll need a drill and a 1/16 inch drill bit to remove the rivets from the bottom of the car. Once those are out, you can gently pull apart the body from the chassis. Be careful with the interior and the windows; they're part of what gives your Hot Wheels its swagger. To reassemble, you might want to swap the rivets for tiny screws so you can easily take it apart again in the future. Happy customizing!

Honestly, why take it apart? Hot Wheels are perfect as is. Enjoy it without turning your desk into a mini car repair shop.
Hot glue is your best friend when it comes to reassembling. No need for screws, just a dab of glue and you're set. Easy to take apart again too, just gently reheat the glue.
I took apart my first Hot Wheels when I was 10, thinking I could make it faster. Spoiler alert: I couldn't. But I learned a lot about the insides of these cars. Just be careful with the wheels and axles; they're tiny and easy to lose. And remember, patience is key!
