First, get a small Phillips screwdriver and gently remove the 5 screws on the back. Next, carefully separate the two halves. Watch out for the battery and small parts inside—they can pop out if you're not careful!

Start by removing the screws on the back using a Phillips screwdriver. Pry apart the two halves and don't forget to be gentle with the ribbon cables!

Getting inside your PS3 controller is pretty simple: unscrew the back and it should come apart easily. Just watch out for the tiny parts inside!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
