First, unplug everything. Remove the hard drive cover and take out the HDD. Then, unscrew all the screws on the bottom and sides. Finally, carefully pry open the casing to access the internal components. Good luck!

Just unscrew the thing and you're good.

I did this last month! Turn the PS3 slim upside down, unscrew all visible screws (some are hidden under stickers), then gently pop off the top cover. Once inside, you'll see more screws holding the components in place. Be gentle and remember where each screw goes.

Step 1: Disconnect and remove the HDD. Step 2: Unscrew all screws on the lower casing. Step 3: Pry open the case to access the internals. Simple as that!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
