Take off the faceplate by gently prying it away, then remove the top and bottom grills. Unscrew all visible screws and disconnect the DVD drive and the motherboard. Remember to ground yourself to avoid static damage!

First, make sure your Xbox 360 E is unplugged and remove the hard drive. Pop off the side panels with a flat tool, then unscrew the back and sides. Carefully disconnect the motherboard and other components. Trust me, having a tray or labeled containers helps to keep those screws organized!

Get a Torx screwdriver and some plastic prying tools. Open the side panels and screws, then gently lift off the top and bottom covers. Pry off the grill, unscrew everything, and disconnect the cables! Easy peasy.

It's actually really straightforward. 1) Unplug, 2) pry off the faceplate, 3) unscrew everything. Dismantling a LEGO set feels more complicated.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
