Super easy! Just turn off the controller by holding the PS button for about 10 seconds until it shuts off. Or you can go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth Devices, find your controller, and select 'Disconnect.'

You can disconnect a PS4 controller by turning off the system or going into the settings and forgetting the device in the Bluetooth settings.

I've done this a bunch of times! Just go to the 'Devices' section in your settings, find your controller, and hit 'Disconnect.' Swipe right, peace out controller!
