Alright, here's the trick: use the web version of Discord on your phone and connect it to your PS5! You'll also need to use a headset that works with both your phone and PS5, like a Bluetooth headset or a wired one with a splitter.
You can't directly use Discord on PS5, but you can join voice chats through your phone while you play.
Try using a mobile or PC for Discord while gaming on the PS5. That's what worked for me.
