From my own experience, just make a cozy little pen for your frogs or rabbits with some decorations. They'll look great and stay put!
Just catch them with a net and then drop them on your island. Easy peasy!
To display frogs or rabbits, you need to catch them first! Get some nets from the game shop and start hunting. Once caught, place them in a fenced area or on a display stand.
