First off, backup your game saves cuz you don't wanna lose your 100+ hours of gameplay. Then, uninstall Fallout 4 from your system. Next, go into your game files directory (usually in the Steam/Steamapps/common folder for Steam users) and delete any remaining Fallout 4 files. Now, restart your PC just to keep things smooth. Finally, reinstall Fallout 4 through Steam or from your original game disc. And bam, you've got yourself a clean slate to wreak havoc in post-apocalyptic Boston!

Did a clean install last month. Make sure to clear out the old game files in Documents/My Games/Fallout4 too. Missed that the first time and it was a mess. Oh, and keep your mods in check if you're into that; they can get funky on a fresh install.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
