Just hit up Steam Support and ask nicely for your money back. Works best if you haven't been binge-playing the game for days.

It's pretty straightforward to request a Steam refund. Just go to Steam Support, find the game you want to refund within your purchase history, and click on it. There should be an option that says 'I would like a refund'. Follow the prompts, and bam, you're in refund-ville. Remember, you can only refund games if you've owned them for less than two weeks and have played for less than two hours.

Actually, I had a game that was acting up on my rig, way past the 2-hour playtime. I explained the issue to Steam Support, and they were cool about it and processed my refund. Goes to show it's worth a shot even if you don't meet the usual criteria.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
