In Animal Crossing, you can use amiibo to invite characters to your island or participate in Photopia sessions. Just head over to the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services, and select the amiibo option. Then, place your amiibo or amiibo card on the NFC touchpoint of your Nintendo Switch controller. This will invite the character to your campsite or Photopia. Note that some special characters might not be invite-able to the campsite but can still show up in Photopia!

Hot take but not all amiibo are worth the hassle in Animal Crossing. Stick to your faves and don't sweat collecting 'em all.

Got to say, tapping my K.K. Slider amiibo and having him show up was a highlight. It's super easy - just like magic. Go to Resident Services, interact with the terminal, and bam, you're set.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
