If you want to play multiplayer, both players need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You can't do actual split-screen.
No split-screen option in Crossy Road, but multiplayer works flawlessly over Wi-Fi!
No split-screen for Crossy Road, but playing on the same Wi-Fi is the closest you'll get. Just make sure both players are on iOS or Android.
