Open the Undertale demo files and look for the file named 'options.ini'. Change 'DebugMode' from 0 to 1, and you're in! Debug away!

Just tweak the 'options.ini' file in the demo's folder to enable debug mode. Change 'DebugMode' to 1 and you should be good!
