Having done a genocide run myself, I can tell ya it's tough but thrilling. Make sure to defeat all enemies in each area to progress properly.
Easy peasy! Just kill every enemy you encounter in each area until they stop spawning, then move on.
Basically, you gotta actively seek out and defeat every monster in an area until you get the 'But nobody came.' message.
