To perform a Mercy in MK11 on PS5, during the 'Finish Him/Her' phase, stand a specific distance away, then press L2, followed by Down, Down, Down, and release L2. It's a cool way to show some sportsmanship!
Just hold L2, tap Down three times, then release L2. Easy peasy!
From my experience, it's all about timing. During the 'Finish Him/Her' screen, hold L2, press Down three times quickly, and release. Worked like a charm for me!
