Honestly, you just swipe up on the screen to shoot and aim where you want the ball to go. Done.
When taking a penalty, make sure to aim by dragging the circle to the desired corner of the goal. Press kick and hold for the right power. Practice makes perfect!
From my experience, the trick is all in the timing. Tap to bring up the aiming circle, aim for the corners, and don't overdo the power. Scored tons of goals that way!
