Seriously, it's easier than you think. Start Fortnite with Player 1, turn on Player 2's controller, and follow the on-screen prompts. Split screen activated!
Just press the Xbox button to sign in a second account after starting Fortnite. That's it, you're now playing split screen!
It's easy! First, sign into your primary account and start Fortnite. Then, turn on the second controller, and have the second player sign in. You'll see an 'A to join' prompt on the bottom of the screen – just hit that!
