The light test is a cool way to check if your Pokemon card is legit or not. Just take a strong light and shine it from the back of the card. If the card is real, you should see a uniform glow with the silhouette of the Pokemon clearly visible. Fakes usually have a different kind of light penetration, making them look blotchy or overly transparent. Remember not to use too strong of a light; you don't wanna fry your card!

Honestly, just use a flashlight from your phone and hold the card up to it. If it's a genuine Pokemon card, the light will pass through in a specific, even way. If it's a fake, the light will look all weird.

Not a fan of the light test. It can be kinda subjective and not always accurate. Better to compare with cards from a trusted source.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
