To dodge in Sonic Frontiers, hit the trigger button (like RT on Xbox or R2 on PlayStation) right as an enemy attack is coming in. It takes some practice to nail the timing, but once you get it, you'll be dancing around enemies like Sonic chasing a Chaos Emerald!
