Dodging punches in GTA 5 is all about timing. When you're in a fistfight, watch your opponent's movements closely. Right before they swing at you, press the dodge button (Square on PS4/PS5, X on Xbox One/Xbox Series X, and Spacebar on PC). If you time it right, your character will sidestep the punch, giving you a perfect opportunity to counterattack with a punch of your own.

Just spam the dodge button, honestly. Works like a charm most of the time.

A solid strategy is to not only dodge but also to learn the counter-attack. After successfully dodging with timing, hit the attack button immediately (Circle on PlayStation, B on Xbox, and R on PC) to land a solid punch. Makes fights way easier when you get the hang of it.

I tried dodging punches by just moving around and not engaging. It's kinda boring but hey, if you hate getting smacked, just run away!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
