You can't officially downgrade a PS3 Slim. Sony doesn't support it and it voids the warranty. But if you're feeling adventurous, you can look into custom firmware. Just be careful, you might brick your console!

Honestly, don't bother downgrading. Just enjoy the games you can play now!

Downgrading a PS3 Slim involves using hardware flashers like the E3 Flasher. It's complicated and risky, so only attempt it if you know what you're doing. Otherwise, find a pro to do it for you.

I tried downgrading my PS3 Slim once with custom firmware, but it was a nightmare. Ended up with a $200 paperweight. Proceed with caution!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
