Use the Facebook 'Download Your Information' tool! It's in the settings and lets you download all your photos in one go.
Been there, done that! Go to settings, choose 'Download Your Information', pick 'Photos and Videos', and you're golden.
IMHO, just go to each album, click on the 3 dots, and choose 'Download Album'. Tedious but works if you don't need everything.
