In my honest experience, it's kinda like putting a square peg in a round hole but here's the deal: Boot your Steam Deck into Desktop Mode, install Heroic Games Launcher (an open-source alternative), and use it to access and play your Epic Games. Not as direct, but it gets the job done!

So you wanna merge worlds, huh? Epic on a Steam Deck? Here鈥檚 the scoop: install Windows on your Steam Deck first (yeah, it鈥檚 a thing). Once you've got Windows running, download the Epic Games Launcher just like you would on a PC. Voila, Epic Games on your Steam Deck!

Why bother? Steam's got everything you need.

Actually, you can also use a tool called Lutris in Desktop Mode to install Epic Games. It鈥檚 like Heroic but gives you more options to play around with.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
